Not Assiduous?

Hmmmph…. It has been few days that I am out of mood to wake up early to go to school. I really don’t know why. That’s one problem, and the other is I am no more able to stay up night until 11 pm! When the clock strikes at 10, definitely, my eyes are already heavy. I, then, sleep, hopefully that I can wake up early in the morning to study; I do wake up but 10 minutes after struggling to open my eyes to read few lines, for sure, I turn blank – falling asleep! I am not assiduous anymore! The spirit that I have start to abetting! Ooo friends! Give me support to ameliorate my enthusiasm! May be I just miss our happy days in KISAS.

CAS SERVICE at KISAS

Firstly, I am glad to obtain a just good result for my first exam. I passed the cut point: 35 points. Alhamdulillah. It is quite an achievement for me since I had spent my times mostly for the CAS SERVICE at KISAS during my exam week when others were struggling for the exam. However, I did manage my time properly and, of course, I prayed to Allah; sth that I will never forget.
CAS SERVICE???

Actually, this is as if co-curricular activity for IB students. My plan is I want to fill up my service first, so I didn’t mind to sacrifice my exam for this, besides I might not come to KISAS anymore.
These are the pictures…

Though I am not in my mood to sit for this one -- fighting with someone :'(

A Week in Sri KDU

Different place has different ways of life. Here in Sri KDU is, of course, extremely different from KISAS. However, I am proud of my roommates who have heart of KISASIANS. Don’t be surprised! Though I was!

Let I spin a yarn about my first day in this fabulous school. In the first day, IB coordinator, Mr. Shawn, a British got into our class and introduced us to some of the teachers to us. Then, we were entertained by our seniors who are too excited and friendly in the orientation sessions which took less than two hours since all of us are just 19. They had prepared an experiment to welcoming us but it was cancelled due to certain technical problems. After the first recess, we headed into our class, IB 3, to begin our lessons. All the teachers in the day introduced us to our new friends; I meant the books that we have to use as our reference. Since all the books are more than 500 pages each, all of them used chairs to bring all those to our class. The class that was the most interesting one was our first French class by Mr. Oliver. Once you sit in the class you will never wanna leave it! Believe me! Mr. Oliver’s smile is a magic!

In the following days we continue our lessons according to our schedule. As early as 7.30 am we have arrived to school and return to our apartment in fatigue at 3.40 pm. The other class that was cool was the CAS class. We were divided into a few tiny groups and given a task for 30 minutes and we did run all over the big school to accomplish the task. And next month we will have a camping somewhere in Gopeng and it sounds really adventurous with the well planned activities and of course our seniors will be shocked to our plan in repaying with what they have been planning to us.

What can I say, studying in Sri KDU and in KISAS seem the same, really tiring. I have to prepare notes before getting into classes so I have no time to be here as frequently as I was before. But keep in touch ok!

My fist day as a new IB student!!!

OMD!!! Sri KDU School is absolutely fabulous!! From the entrance gate to the back yard, you will be absolutely speechless, mesmerized, not only that, all the stuffs, teachers, and students are too friendly. I feel lucky to be the selected Petronas scholar.

You know, the amenities are the first class amenities which meet the Smart School title. Computers are in the all well air-conditioned classes. The library is cool. The cafeteria is more than u can imagine. There are gym, swimming pool, and etc. I am in the school heaven!

The first person that I met was Azlan who came with his mom, sis, and little brother (he is now the friend of my bro). Then, we headed inside and a too friendly guy came to welcoming us and showing us the enrolment room. We took lift to go to the fist second floor. All the long way sides, the David Arculate welcoming posters are still hanging everywhere.

Nearly all sessions are interesting but the best one was the course and counseling. I met Miss Harjit, teaching Economy. She is really friendly and we talked a lot in the counseling session. Moreover, she is as me, left handed. Then, popped up a famous word, describing a left hander, creative.

The activities (bla…bla…bla…) at school ended around 3.00 pm, then, our parents, the scholars, together, drove to our apartment, with their deluxe cars such as Merce, Estima, etc. What should u expect? Expect the unexpected! My apartment is awesome! It’s a hostel when ‘s’ is absent. Kitchen is there. Tv will cheer we up when stressed up by work. Internet access is on the way. Refrigerator will be full by tomorrow. The swimming pool, gym, ect. I’ve got no camera to take photos. Sorry.

Our apartment....

The all boy scholars (5 people), stayed at an apartment. I shared with Izzuddin a room and Weh Kiat, Azlan and Firdaus took the master bed room.
Izzudin came from Kedah, ex-Asis.
Weh Kiat came from nearby district I think.
Azlan came from Bandar Bangi.

I met two great guys.. Azlan and Weh Kiat. They dragged my past memory with my beloved friends..

Sri KDU!! Here We Come!!

Sri KDU School! Wait for us this 20 June 2009!! We are going to attack you!!! hahaha.. We? Yea, we are the lucky Petronas Scholars, 12 all of us.

And guys, I m really sorry for didn't appear online lately as I just have returned home from my village and my laptop 'charger' was broken down. Anyway, I got an opportunity to write something about my next step in education arena in Sri KDU School since I m one of the last one who pursues study. I m going to do International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Sekolah Sri KDU® or Sri KDU School is a premier private co-educational Smart School offering the Malaysian Curriculum at Primary and Secondary levels. Above of all, it is also an IB World School offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Since its inception in 2003, its enrolment has grown from 528 students to more than 2400 students in 2008. What a number of pupils!!

About the Petronas Scholars, they are 12 people I think. I have got their e-mails. Where did I get those? SECRET!!

What a pleasent suprise!!! I met with three of these students before our schooling days. Once again, Alhamdulillah and thanks to the latest tecnology which has draged me to the borderless world. There are J...(forgot her name), Azlan (a handsome guy) and Izzudin (ex-Asis student). We had a long talk yesterday till late in the morning. However it is, I can't wait to meet them and the most important thing to pursue my study that I have waited all this long!
Cest La Vie
My new met friend, Azlan

Nevertheless, I have to bear in my mind that I will face culture shock here. I did my research about students here and I think the images of the social norm here is in ur mind now. So, I have to prepare my mind.

Congratulation

congratulation Pictures, Images and Photos
The all results, Matriculation, UPU, scholarships, for us to pursue our education to the next level were already announced. Smile and tear, definitely, the spontaneous actions after knowing the result. For those who got what did they hope for, of course, a broad smile bloomed in the wave of happiness and for those who could not make it, tear wet their cheek.

For those who got what do they want; congratulation! You deserve it! And, my friends, who got no opportunity, don’t cry. Allah knows what the best is for us. Maybe, the best place for you study is in Malaysia. Though, I am certain that you did the best to realize your dream and you never let the ‘dream becomes your master’.

"It is not good for all our wishes to be filled; through sickness we recognize the value of health; through evil, the value of good; through hunger, the value of food; through exertion, the value of rest."

I still want to say congratulation to all my friends. Where ever we are placed to study at, we are still lucky for having a chance to study because not all people on this planet can have it. Think about our friends in Palestine. You will cry, then.

Anyway, once we are racing, make sure we are the winner. In the world of education today, we are racers! The competitions are really high. Those who are strong enough to face the challenge will continue to survive and those who are weak will be stepped by other people. Since, once we were in Islamic College of Sultan Alam Shah (don’t care if it’s wrong), it means we are a great person who will lead the community in the next future. This is the responsibility that we are shouldering.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is
our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most...
We were born to face the tests that are waiting for us.

And when we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

My Graduation Day

It was never was in my thought to put on a robe in getting certificate for my excellent achievement for my SPM in an official ceremony, but I did that yesterday, 23 April, which will be always alive in my mind until my last breath. I was there, in my college, gathered with all my fellow friends who also obtained excellent result. Some were already wearing the robes and some were just holding it. The waves of excitement can be felt not only us but all of our juniors there from our broad smile and story after along time we hadn't met. Every minute, I snapped candid pictures of comrades in their different styles. There was one who imitated Harry Potter in his robe. lol.

What do I want to say here, this day will always inspire me to run faster in gaining next success. To all my friends who didnt get excellent result, remember, dont repeat the mistake done before and take this ceremony as a catalyst to you to step forward again to your target and we can meet you all in our next graduation day.

And you all form 5 students, my juniors, and also my younger brothers. Take this word as a challenge. Can you wear this green robe next year? Can you? Prove to all people around you that you can do it and the above of all, make your father and mother to be happy with you guys! I will always pray for you...

MY NEXT MOVE IN EDUCATION ARENA

Education_Cream Pictures, Images and Photos
Just days after the announcement of SPM( Malaysia Education Certificate) result until yesterday, I accepted nearly 10 offers to pursue my study to the next level. Although so, I declined them, all. The first reason is all the institutions are private colleges and universities. Besides that, their offers are not attractive at all.

With my quite excellent result, I dream to study abroad and the destination is UK for aerospace engineering course. That's my vision. The chosen university is Liverpool University which is one of the best universities in UK in aerospace engineering course. People may ask me why must UK? As Russia is the better place to study at for this engineering. My answer is simple. If all people lead their way to Russia, one day we will face a problem; concentration of Russia technology. It causes aerospace industry will expand slow. Instead of that, people who further their study for medic still go to unpopular countries rather than the popular one. So, study place is not a matter.
I went to Mara for an interview and I believe my chance is high to grab the scholarship.

Before waiting for the result for the scholarship, I will drag myself to matrix first. While having nothing to learn about, here is the best place for me to meet lecturers. So, I can widen my frontier of knowledge, the bigger my brain will be.. (lol)

Thank You Mates

thank you Pictures, Images and PhotosAt last, all of my interviews were over and I did pretty great. And Thank you mates as you all did lend me a hand, although you will say 'I had never done it'. As a person who experienced it, I could see the changes that you brought into my life. Through our chats, I now can think in English better. The funniest one was I dreamt a few times in English, the subtitles was Malay Language but I never read it..lol... I never experience it before. And of course I gained a lot of things when making live conversation with you, besides learning new accent as well.

Now, I just have to wait for the result, Mara and Petronas scholarship. Actually I got some offers, more than 6 offers i guess, but i decline them all. Pray that I can pursue my study in UK.

UTP Is A Heaven

I just returned form UTP, Petronas Technology University for Petronas interview. It's absolutely awesome and i had never expected to see the too artistic buildings which most are made up glass. The most impressive one is the library which is named as Information Resourse Centre (IRC). Have you ever imagined a book shelf which is higher than 2 metres? This you still can imagine but how if you a book shelf which is higher than 10 metres? And not one is there but more than 40! Can you imagine that? I was startled when looked at this library from outside and when getting inside lucky I was not faint. Its better I you have your own time with this video. Its is a Heaven.. chancellor.

Learnt Chinese

You might still remember my friend L(俊伟), a Chinese. I got a simple lesson from him but worth. I never dream that I will learn Chinese yet he was my teacher in that day.

Chinese Character Writing Pictures, Images and PhotosMy lesson (just learnt number):
1=一 2 = 二 3= 三 4=四 5 =五 6 =六 7 =七

He called me and teach me all these... Luckly I still remember all this because he is a great teacher.

* That's why I love making friend...
